Montessori Unlimited’s montessori primary school is built on the notion that children in the early elementary years learn by becoming absorbed in activities that adults find common place. For these children, learning takes the form of tangible experiences that teach them about science, nature, geography, nutrition, culture, language, and math. Older elementary school students embrace the Montessori experience by beginning to explore abstract principles as well as academic concepts through individualized attention and group learning.

Some key ways in which a Montessori education differs from a traditional classroom setting are that the teacher has an unobtrusive role as students are encouraged to display self discipline; students receive individual instruction as well as teaching and learning from each other through mixed aged groupings; children may choose their own work and work on projects for as long as they wish; students can set own learning pace; and children can work wherever and however they are comfortable as long as they are not disturbing the work of others.

At Montessori Unlimited, age groups include 2-3, 3-6, and 6-9; these mixed age groupings encourage social development. Teachers ask questions rather than providing the answers, and classrooms are kept quiet, neat, and organized by the students through a philosophy of self discipline.
