Pre K Description
Growing in wisdom is referred to today as cognitive development. It is not our desire to test, compare or pressure children into learning. Instead we try to guide children to a level of learning in line with their development. The Porter Preschool and Kindergarten programs us the ABeka curriculum, which is a Christian based curriculum used throughout the country. Areas of study include: counting, comprehension, phonics, time/day/week, colors, etc. Children are encouraged and challenged with daily learning activities. Art is used in the classroom as a means of encouraging their creativity.
