Pre School Description

The academy was started because of a child name Kenneth Austin Shaw Jr. This child was the son of Karen A.C. Shaw, the founder of Precious Child Academy. Karen wanted a place that this child could learn, grow and be enhanced in on-going challenges in life; a place to start his education at an early age. Mrs. Karen A.C. Shaw, Marilyn C. Feaster and Phyllis C. King began Precious Child Academy on Oct. 4th 1993, with only 2 children in an old renovated church. Within 3 month this business grew to 50 children. In 6 months this business had impacted 105 children's lives by making leaning fun and play educational.
There have been thousands of children that have been impacted through these facilities, from the youngest child of 5 days old to the oldest child of 16 years old.
