Child Care Description

Baptist Children's Homes' Weekday Education child care provides developmentally appropriate programs for children ages six weeks old through the fifth grade in two 5-star rated, state licensed child care centers on the Mills Home campus in Thomasville. Between the Fleshman-Pratt Education Center and Robert Idol Child Development Center, the program offers full day childcare, part time preschool, before/after school care and Pre-Kindergarten (formerly More At Four) classes. Vouchers from the NC Department of Social Services are accepted at each center.
The North Carolina Pre-Kindergarten program is offered at the Robert Idol Child Development Center. Made possible through state funding, Pre-K is a high-quality pre-kindergarten program that serves children who are at risk and prepares them for success in school. Pre-kindergarten is a research-proven strategy for school readiness.
