Childcare Description

The Seadrunar Child Care Program provides loving care and support for children between the ages of birth and 12 years. It is licensed by the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services Division of Childcare and Early Learning. Trained and experienced childcare staff works with both parents and children to develop positive parent-child interaction and stronger parental skills.
Parents participate in the daily care of their children, as well as attending Parent Effectiveness Training seminars to improve their parenting skills. Since many children of drug abusing parents display behavioral and emotional problems, Seadrunar enrolls both parents and children in external therapeutic programs whenever necessary. All children residing in the Seadrunar Childcare Center receive ongoing medical care and participate in structured leisure activities both in and away from the facility.
