Sonshine Learning Center is a family ran Christian based childcare facility. The facility was built in early 1993, and opened for operation on May 24, of that year. The center is decorated and furnished with children's needs in mind. Each classroom is painted a soft pale blue to promote a calm, relaxing atmosphere. There are 2 infant rooms and 5 preschool classrooms. The preschool rooms feature child-sized furniture and bathroom facilities to help little children feel comfortable in surroundings scaled to their size. All rooms are licensed to accommodate single group sizes with one morning teacher and one afternoon teacher. Each classroom is designed with an exit that leads to a playground with play structures built specifically for the age group's safety needs.
