Day Care Center Description
The Beacon Program at IS 5 in Elmhurst serves more than 1300 students in first through eighth-grades and is open from 3 to 10 p.m. on weekdays and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays. Students in first through fourth grade work on homework and an activity each day. Students in fifth through eighth grade have the choice of an array of activities including dance gym science girls empowerment comic books and more. Students take frequent field trips and perform in program-wide shows. This child care center is permitted to dispense over-the-counter topicals
