Susie Dasher STEM, a charter school within the Dublin City Schools System for students in kindergarten through fifth grade, is an interdisciplinary focus on the 21st Century skills of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. Higher level thinking skills such as creativity, problem-solving, collaboration, communication, analytical thinking, and perseverance are necessary for all levels of success. The intent of Susie Dasher STEM is to present required Georgia Performance Standards-based curriculum as a learning adventure that is enriched by applying engineering skills (knowledge of math, science, technology, language, history and the arts) for problem solving and higher order thinking at the appropriate level in all classrooms and subjects.
