Thank you for your interest in The Learning Experience Toms River II located on Route 9 South in beautiful Toms River, New Jersey. At Toms River II, we offer premier and state-of-the-art child care to children ages six weeks to six years of age. Our warm, loving atmosphere features a year-round extended day program from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. We also offer after school care for children up to thirteen years of age. Transportation is provided for students who attend Joseph A. Citta Elementary School and North Dover Elementary School. The Learning Experience is not just a daycare facility but also a complete child development center with a dynamic and fun environment that is committed to quality child care and the education of your child.

Our unique programs are based upon years of research and early childhood education experience and that is why we pride ourselves on offering both excellent academic programming as well as a variety of enrichment programs all free of charge to our children. Our school is divided into classrooms based on age and development beginning with our state-of-the-art infant rooms. From there, children advance into the Toddlers, Twaddlers, Preppers, Preschool and Pre-K programs.
The Learning Experience is extremely proud of our proprietary curriculum, The Learning Experience Academic Program (L.E.A.P). At TLE we realize that how children learn is as important as what they learn and encourage each child to achieve success acquiring invaluable cognitive and social skills. L.E.A.P. is broken into three separate stages based on age and development beginning with Little Learners and progressing through L.E.A.P. 1 and L.E.A.P. 2. Our unparalleled Fun with Phonics program is our early reading program that helps 90% of our preschoolers that completed the preschool program with us at TLE reading by the time they go to Kindergarten!
All children participate in one or more of our enrichment programs provided by Charlie Choo Choo Enrichment Programs, whose certified instructors come directly to the children's classrooms. Programs including Music 4 Me, Dancing Feet, Suddenly Science, Marvelous Math, Start to Art and Movin' & Grovin' further develop each child's imagination, socialization skills, mind and body. The programs rotate every twelve weeks and the program(s) each class receives is determined upon age appropriateness. In addition, we believe what is good for one child is good for all and that is why we never charge our parents for enrichment programs.

Our state-of-the-art custom designed building has been planned to provide a safe, healthy and stimulating environment. Two separate outdoor playgrounds have been designed to challenge and delight your child at every age.

The Toms River II center also is a participant with Work & Family. Work & Family is a division of TLE which provides working families a discount when enrolling their children into a TLE. It is through Work & Family that corporations have been able to offer a child care benefit to their team members, at either no-cost or a minimal cost to the corporation. A few of the participating cooperation's who provide Work & Family discounts to their employees include but are not limited to, NJEA (New Jersey Educators of America), Comcast Cable, Johnson & Johnson, McGraw Hill, Ocean Mental Health, State Farm, State of NJ, and many more.
