Child Care Provider Description

Y-Kids Before and After School Programs are provided in surrounding school districts. In select locations, based on community need, parents can drop children off for AM Care as early as 7:00 a.m. PM Care is offered at all sites and enables parents to have their child cared for in a nurturing environment that provides time for homework assistance mixed with fun and learning activities. All PM Care sites operate from dismissal time through 6:00 p.m.
All Y-Kids programs are state licensed and held within your childs school. We offer homework assistance, creative enrichment activities, supervised athletic play, informal games, social opportunities and much, much more! In addition, throughout the year, your child can enjoy theme days, special events and holiday parties.
You will find professional, dependable and safe care for children in grades K-6 where the YMCA Character values of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility are taught in all of our programs. The Community YMCA strives for a staff to child ratio of 1:12. Prior to their employment with The Community YMCA, all staff members must undergo thorough background checks and fingerprinting. Staff members are also trained in CPR, First Aid and Epi-pen.
