Prek Description
Northwest Tennessee Head Start/Early Head Start continued to serve children and families in thirteen counties that lie in the three Development Districts of West Tennessee. The program employed 66 teachers and 71 assistant teachers who engaged 1,410 Head Start children in well-planned, developmentally appropriate learning experiences at 26 centers and 3 home-based sites. A total of 19 Early Head Start teachers and 13 assistant teachers offered high-level care and services to 137 infants, toddlers, and pregnant women.
