Child Care Center Description

With the opening of additional centers in 1988 and 1992 we now care for children in Alton, East Alton, Granite City, and the surrounding communities.
The Learning Center is open year-round, Monday thru Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., closing only 9 days a year on major holidays. We dont take vacations or close for bad weather.
We are licensed for children 6 weeks 12 years of age.
A wide selection of programs are offered to meet the varied needs of families
Full day care with enrichment activities for infants, toddlers and twos
Half day preschool only and full day care including preschool for children 3 4
Full or half day prekindergarten for children 4 1/2 5
School-age care on holidays and before and after school
Full day summer camp for children 6 10
Children delight in our interactive, creative, well-rounded curriculum that prepares them for kindergarten and beyond.
Each group enjoys active play and explores nature in their own enclosed playground with age-appropriate equipment.
Nutritious meals, snacks, and naps are included in full day programs.
Research indicates that experience and education of teachers are factors associated with optimal development in children; our teachers are highly qualified and have been with us for an average of 6 years.
