Preschool Description

United Christian Academy, established in 2003, located in Cleveland, Tennessee, is an extension of the vision set forth by Reverend H. Richard Hall, founder of the United Christian Church and Ministerial Association. Since the passing of Reverend Hall, it is currently presided over by President Don Warren and the United Christian Ministerial Association. The administrator and principal of United Christian Academy is Ramona Kim, and the preschool director is Janice Ownby. UCA is an outreach of the UCCMA.
UCA is a member of the Tennessee Association of Nonpublic Academic Schools (TANAS), an accrediting agency and a member of the Association of Christian Schools International. United Christian Academy offers K3 through 8th grade an excellent educational opportunity in a supportive and challenging environment. We use an accelerated faith-based A Beka curriculum which is taught by professional, degreed and well-trained teachers. Our extra-curricular activities include art appreciation classes, drama and music theory, Spanish, and a physical education program. UCA students are given the opportunity to participate in the National Elementary Honor Society, Girl Scouts, and private piano and guitar lessons. Our students are involved in community service projects and ministry outreach such as Thanksgiving baskets, nursing home visits, and Operation Christmas Child.
