More than sixty years ago, West Hills Learning Center began offering quality care for young children in the quaint Multnomah Village area of Southwest Portland. Were still here, in our original location, which has grown and expanded over the years to meet the increasing need for quality child care in the Portland area.
Today, the Learning Center offers enriched learning environments and year-round care
options for children ages 9 months through 6 years. Our Toddler, Pre-School, Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten programs are structured to meet the schedules of busy parents while providing a fun and nurturing experience for every child.
Each classroom offers age-appropriate experiences and activities which support and encourage your childs emergent and constructive learning. Our teaching philosophy and educational approach is drawn from Emergent Curriculum Practices, Developmentally Appropriate Practices and from the text entitled Creative Curriculum.
