Child Development Center Description
Through the Holy Spirit, we know God is with us, helping us live as faithful disciples. During May in Faith Village child will explore the following concepts;- hear the story of the coming of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost;- identify how the Holy Spirit empowered the disciples;- understand that we are empowered by the Holy Spirit;- define the Holy Spirit as "God with us now";- learn that the Holy Spirit can be present in our lives too;- explore the meaning of "believe";- understand why we celebrate Pentecost as the birthday of the church.
