Greetings from Winter Sun Schoolhouse a center that earnestly celebrates the mental aptitude creative handiwork and heartfelt actions of the young child. We are an intimate school and are unique in our approach to early childhood education. We promote learning through meaningful experiences and play is fundamentally respected as the work of the young child.
We believe that happy children are healthy learners therefore our goal is to create an environment that will foster joy and happiness. On any given day you might observe children making a fruit salad dancing singing in Spanish acting out a story they heard sorting drumming stacking writing fingerpainting creating rhythm collecting nature objects journaling or simply building mud pies with their friends.
