Child Day Care Description
The YWCA TechGYRLS after-school program is a FREE girls-only environment, specifically designed to broaden a girls technical knowledge. We help participants develop the confidence to use technology tools, discover links between enjoyable technology projects and STEM subjects, and enhance their critical thinking skills. The girls are encouraged to construct, design, produce, animate, analyze, integrate, visualize and explore.
The overall goal of this program is to make a dramatic & significant impact on at-risk girls ages 9 -15 whos access to, and experience with, technology software would otherwise be severely limited.
