Birchwood Montessori is owned and operated by Tere Obrochta. Tere has over 20 years experience working with children and their families. Tere is MACTE certified with a Master's level Montessori certificate from the American Montessori Association. She has a BA in Psychology from the University of Colorado and a Masters in Education from Chaminade University. Tere's teaching philosophy is based on the belief that children have unlimited potential to learn and it is the duty of educators to provide the optimal environment to allow for a child's physical, emotional, and social growth.
