Pre School Description
Head Start is a national program which provides comprehensive early childhood development services to America's low-income pre-school children ages 3-5. In addition their families receive support and social services through our programs. Head Start has a commitment to support children with disabilities by providing services to address their physical emotional and/or learning disabilities.
Head Start continues to adapt to changing social conditions and respond to new research in early childhood education and development. Among the program's goals is to create culturally appropriate and relevant curricula and family services to meet the needs of our community's increasingly diverse population.
