Preschool Description
First United Methodist Child Development Center is an outreach ministry of First United Methodist Church, serving the children of working families in the greater Charlotte area. We believe strongly that a culturally diverse environment enriches the learning experience of our students, and have students representing sixteen different countries in our program.
Students enrolled at FUMCDC see the world, and the experiences that are shared are ones that last a lifetime! We save 10% of our slots for children whose tuition is subsidized, and our students are diverse economically, as well as ethnically, which provides a well rounded experience for the children in our care. Our facility is also a training site for Central Piedmont Community College and other state university students needing student teaching experiences prior to receiving their degrees.
