Prek Description
We began in 1977 as Little Gingerbread House Day School. As we grew and evolved our name was streamlined to Gingerbread Day School in 1992. In 2000 the program was expanded to include 2nd - 8th grade. The K-8th program was renamed Heritage Academy while the preschool remained Gingerbread. In our desire to better unify the scope and purpose of our program we became Heritage Preschool and Academy. Our marquee sign outside still says Gingerbread Day School and Heritage Academy until such time as we raise enough money to replace it (see the Dollar Project page). We have enjoyed our role in lives of children for the past 33 years and we are looking forward to many more.
