Welcome to La Petite Academy of Avon! I am Angie the Academy Director and Ive been with La Petite Academy for five years. I hold a bachelors degree in Elementary Education as well as a kindergarten endorsement. I taught kindergarten for three years before becoming a director.
From 19892006 we were known as Childrens Park and in 2006 we became La Petite Academy. We participate in Indianas Paths to QUALITY program and have earned a Level Three rating. We are in the process of obtaining our NECPA accreditation.
My staff and I are proud to offer your child a nurturing and supportive environment in which to grow play and learn. When we hire our teachers we do not just hire to fill a position. We hire people who we feel share our same philosophy and values. All of my staff but two have been here more than three years and all staff have earned a CDA (Child Development Associate) or higher or are currently in classes to obtain a degree.
