Thank you for considering Matawan Montessori Academy. We are a multi-cultural diversified school. We welcome your interest in our program. Maria Montessori created a philosphy of education that allows the children of each generation to reach their greatest potential. In our world today, there are different ethnicities and diversities; our school provides an environment where the child can recognize these traits. They learn foremost in a class of mutual respect and one that offers them the opportunities to explore, to touch and develop naturally without fear and ultimately cultivating a strong love of learning.
The child's curiosity allows them to progress at it's own pace. Through the guidance of a trained Montessori teacher using the methods and materials provied in our prepared enviornment, the child is allowed to develop at their own inherent tendencies toward becoming a responsible compassionate, confident adult.
