Child Care Description
Mountainair Head Start is a Part Day/Part Year program that serves 20 Head Start (three to five years of age) children. This center is 41 miles south of I-40. The center is located on the Mountainair Public School grounds. The staff offers activities that build on the culture and traditions of the families encouraging family participation whenever possible. With family and community support, staff are able to offer the children the opportunity to grow;socially, intellectually, physically, and emotionally.
