Welcome to The Learning Experience Child Development Center (TLE) at Matawan, a premiere childcare provider with over 25 years of educational experience! We provide outstanding childcare for Matawan and the surrounding area. We are conveniently located at 762 Route 34, Matawan, NJ and easily accessed from route 9 and the Garden State Parkway. We are open Monday through Friday from 6:30am to 6:30 pm year round, offering a variety of full-time, part-time, after-school programs and summer camp.
At The Learning Experience Matawan, each child is encouraged to develop at their own pace. Our curriculum is unparalleled creating a strong foundation for each child to grow emotionally, socially, physically and cognitively. The Learning Experience is extremely proud of our proprietary curriculum, L.E.A.P (The Learning Experience Academic Program). At TLE we realize that how children learn is as important as what they learn and encourage each child to achieve success while acquiring invaluable social skills. L.E.A.P. is broken into three separate stages based on age and development beginning with Little Learners and progressing through L.E.A.P. 1 and L.E.A.P. 2. Our children learn through fun and exciting hands on activities that encourage them to learn and explore. Our unparalleled early reading program called Fun with Phonics features the most creative and innovative techniques to make reading fun. Many of our students are reading by age four! Within the curriculum we also have a sign language program that starts in our infant classroom and continues throughout the entire building as well as a technology program which includes the computer, digital camera and phone.
All children participate in one or more of our enrichment programs provided by Charlie Choo Choo, whose certified instructors come directly to the children's classrooms and add to our already wonderful curriculum. Programs including Music 4 Me, Dancing Feet, Suddenly Science, Marvelous Math, Start to Art, Movin & Grovin' and Talent Sprouts further develop each child's imagination, socialization skills, mind and body. The programs rotate every twelve weeks and the program(s) each class receives is determined upon age appropriateness. In addition, we believe what is good for one child is good for all and that is why we never charge our parents for enrichment programs.
The Learning Experience at Matawan participates in the Work and Family program which offers tuition discounts to participating members. We also offer sibling discounts to our families.
