Once all of the backpacks have been given out and the first day back to school jitters have subsided, the Army continues to offer support through a diverse number of after-school programs.
All three "R"s are covered at The Salvation Army of Brown County (Wisconsin)'s after school program: reading, rithmetic and...recreation. In addition to homework help, kids get hot meals and plenty of exercise in the Corps Community Center of Green Bay's gym.1
