Pre School Description
Head Start is a federally funded comprehensive early child development program for children between the ages of 3 and 5. The Head Start program provides high quality services for eligible children and their families including children with special needs and disabilities. Children and their families receive developmental services to meet the needs of the child through the public school systems and professional consultants. Children who attend Head Start participate in a variety of educational activities along with receiving medical and dental care and nutritious meals and snacks. The CDI Head Start Program offers center-based half-day or full day programs at select sites. All centers operate from September through May with hours that vary.
